Prepare all ingredients.
Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalks and cut into slices. Grind in a blender to a puree.
Wash the apples, remove the core and cut into slices. Squeeze juice through a juicer.
Combine tomato and apple juice in a large saucepan. Add salt, sugar, bay leaf and cloves. Bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
Strain the juice through a fine sieve.
Pour back into the saucepan and cook for another 3 minutes.
Pour the prepared hot juice into a clean, sterilized jar.
Roll up hermetically. Turn the jar upside down and wrap in a towel. Leave it like this until completely cooled.
