Apples stuffed with prunes

Description of preparation:

Baked apples with prunes are not too high in calories and are perfect not only for an afternoon snack or dessert, but also for a light dinner. It is advisable to steam the prunes in advance so that they do not taste too harsh.

Prepare the following ingredients. You can choose any variety of apples according to your taste. It is advisable to purchase prunes without seeds.

Rinse the prunes in water and place in a deep bowl or bowl. Pour boiling water over for 5-10 minutes.

Rinse the apples in water, cut out the seed blocks from the top, being careful not to break through the bottom of the fruit. If you break through the bottom, the baked juice will flow out.

Squeeze the prunes from the liquid and cut into small cubes. Place into the holes in the apples.

Sprinkle granulated sugar on top, 1 tsp. on an apple. You can add a little vanilla sugar or ground cinnamon to make the dessert more flavorful. Place the stuffed apples on a baking sheet or in a mold and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.

Serve the apple dessert hot, it is incredibly tender and delicious!
