Beef with pumpkin in the oven

Description of preparation:

Due to the fact that nothing is disturbed during cooking, the pumpkin retains its integrity. Beef and pumpkin are soaked in each other’s juices, and you get a complete second course. If desired, you can add onions and garlic.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to cook beef with pumpkin in the oven. Wash and dry the pumpkin.

Peel the pumpkin and remove seeds, cut into medium pieces. Pour half the vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Add pumpkin and fry for 3 minutes, transfer to a bowl.

Cut the beef into pieces, pour the remaining vegetable oil into the frying pan after the pumpkin and fry the beef over high heat until golden brown on all sides.

Place the fried beef in a bowl with the pumpkin. Salt and pepper everything and add adjika. Mix everything and transfer to a baking dish. Pour water into the mold and cover with foil. Bake beef with pumpkin in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 1.5 hours. After this, remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
