Chicken legs with rice in the oven

This dish is very easy to prepare. Take any spices to suit your taste. A fragrant and tasty dish worthy of a festive table. If you give it to children, you don’t need to add spices.
Prepare the ingredients for cooking chicken legs with rice in the oven.
Wash the legs and place in a bowl. Mix salt, ground black pepper, turmeric and basil in a separate bowl. Brush the legs well on all sides with this mixture and let stand for at least an hour.
Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Place in a frying pan with sunflower oil.
Fry vegetables until soft.
Rinse the rice thoroughly in running water. Place in a frying pan with onions and carrots. Stir and fry with vegetables for 3-4 minutes.
Then place the rice with carrots and onions in a baking dish.
Salt the water to taste and pour over the rice.
Place the legs in a dish with rice, vegetables and water.
Bake the chicken legs with rice in the oven at 185-190 degrees for 60-90 minutes. Baking time depends on your oven and rice.
