Classic tomato paste

I’m sharing a simple recipe for classic tomato paste with just two ingredients. The preparation process is painstaking, but the final result is worth it.
Prepare all ingredients.
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and dry. Cut into medium sized slices.
Pass the tomatoes through a juicer.
Pour the resulting tomato juice into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes.
Then remove from the stove and let cool completely.
The juice will separate. The pulp will go down and the liquid will be on top. Use a fine sieve to scoop out the liquid so that the pulp remains at the bottom.
You will get a separate translucent tomato liquid that you can drink and thick tomato pulp. Add salt to taste and simmer for 30-45 minutes until desired consistency.
Place the hot tomato paste into clean, sterilized jars and seal.
