Cod with carrots and onions in the oven
You can cook cod with carrots and onions not only from fillets, but also from fish steaks. Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or natural yogurt. Any side dish or just fresh vegetables will do with the fish.
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking cod with carrots and onions in the oven.
Clean the cod from scales, fins and fillet. Cut the fillet into portions and put in a baking dish, greased with vegetable oil. Salt and pepper the cod.
Peel and rinse onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots on a medium grater, salt, add mayonnaise and mix.
Spread the vegetable mass over the cod fillets and place in a hot oven. Bake cod at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes. After a while, take out the finished fish and serve it to the table.
