Curd buns “Pigtails”

Description of preparation:

Soft and fragrant buns disappear in an instant! Very tasty either with something or coffee, or warm with milk. If desired, you can add raisins or any other dried berries or fruits to the dough. Baking can safely be called “in a hurry.” Bake it – you won’t regret it!

Prepare all ingredients.

Beat eggs with sugar and salt.

Add cottage cheese, baking powder and butter. Mix well, mashing large pieces of cottage cheese with a fork or spatula.

Then add flour in parts. First mix the dough with a spoon and then continue kneading with your hands.

Do not knead the dough for a long time, otherwise it will “tighten” and the buns will be hard and heavy.

Roll out the dough into a layer and cut into strips. The number of strips should be a multiple of 3. If you want small buns, you can cut the strips in half.

Connect three strips of dough at the base and braid. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Brush the pieces with yolk and sprinkle with sugar. You can add cinnamon to the sugar. Bake at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes.
