Fried salmon with poppy seeds

Fried salmon with poppy seeds

Description of preparation:

The colorful fish appetizer can be served on weekdays or at a buffet with various white sauces, chopped herbs or fresh vegetable salad. Don’t forget that salmon is fatty, so it’s best to serve it with bread too.

Prepare the following ingredients. You can use any part of a salmon carcass, as long as you remove the skin and bones and use only the flesh.

Rinse the pulp in water, dry with paper towels and cut into portions into cubes or bars.

Season with salt and pepper. If desired, you can add other ground herbs or spices that do not interrupt the taste of red fish.

Place the dried poppy seeds on a plate and coat the salmon pieces on all sides.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and place fish slices in it. Remember that the oil must be boiling, otherwise all the poppy seed coating will come off the fish and will fry separately.

Fry for 3-5 minutes on one side and turn all the pieces over to the other side. Fry for the same amount of time and turn off the heat.

Place the fried salmon in poppy seeds on a plate and serve with any sour cream-based sauce.
