Haddock with onions

Haddock with onions

Description of preparation:

Haddock is best served with a side dish of potatoes and vegetables. As well as a separate dish with fresh vegetables. If desired, you can sprinkle with fresh herbs or add your favorite spices to the fish.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to prepare haddock and onions.

Clean the fish from scales, remove the entrails and black film from the ribs and belly. Cut the haddock into portions.

Salt, pepper and coat the fish completely in flour.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat over medium heat. Fry the fish on both sides until golden brown. Approximately 4-5 minutes on each side. Transfer the haddock to a plate.

Peel and cut the onions. Place the onion in the pan after frying the fish and fry it for 5-6 minutes, stirring.

Place the fish back into the pan with the onions, add water and cover with a lid. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Bon appetit!
