Marinated silver carp

Marinated silver carp

Description of preparation:

To ensure that the fish is perfectly marinated, stir it in the marinade in a container from time to time. Remember that the approximate preparation time is at least 2-3 days. The marinating time depends on the thickness of the slices. The larger the fish pieces, the longer they will be soaked in the marinade. Serve the appetizer cold.

Prepare the following ingredients. Clean the skin of the fish from scales, cut off the fins if they are present. Remove the fillet by cutting the flesh from the backbone and rinse the fillet in water. Dry with paper towels.

Cut the pulp into portions of any size and place in a deep container: a bowl or food container.

Add salt, ground black pepper and bay leaves. Instead of ground pepper, you can use black peppercorns, but not allspice!

Peel the onions, wash them and cut them into half rings. Add it to the container along with the vinegar and oil and mix everything thoroughly with slight pressure so that the fish pieces are completely covered in the marinade. Do not add greens, as they will turn sour!

Place the pickled silver carp in the refrigerator or put it in the cold for 2-3 days. Stir the appetizer from time to time so that it is evenly saturated with the marinade.

To serve, transfer the fish pieces to a plate and serve along with pickled onions, chopped green onions, bread, etc.
