Milk marshmallow
Description of preparation:
Milk marshmallow is somewhat reminiscent of Turkish delight, but more tender. You can drink tea with it or just have a snack. If you want a creamier taste, replace the milk with cream for the starch. If you want a lower calorie option, replace the milk for starch with water.
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making milk marshmallow.
Pour half the milk into a thick-bottomed saucepan and add sugar. Stir and place over medium heat.
While stirring, cook the sweet milk for 20 minutes over low heat. The mass should boil down and reduce.
Mix the remaining milk with vanilla sugar and dilute the starch. While stirring the milk mass, pour in the starch milk in a thin stream and cook, stirring until thick.
Grease the mold and dishes with vegetable oil and transfer the mixture. Press it well so that there are no voids, and put it in the cold for 2-3 hours until it hardens. Cut the milk marshmallow and serve.
Bon appetit!
