Onigiri with mushrooms

Below I will tell you more about how to cook onigiri with mushrooms. From mushrooms, you can also use oyster mushrooms, tree fungus and eringi. It makes a very tasty combination! The dish is suitable for a vegetarian menu.
Prepare all ingredients.
Soak shiitake in hot water for 15-20 minutes. Then drain the water, rinse the mushrooms and squeeze.
Rinse rice until transparent. Fill with clean water, bring to a boil, stir. Reduce the heat to a minimum, cook for 15 minutes under the lid. Then cover the pan with a clean towel and top with a lid, leave for another 15 minutes. Separately, dilute sugar, salt and rice vinegar in 1 tbsp. water. When the rice has cooled down a little, then pour in this dressing and mix.
Cut the shiitake and mushrooms into small cubes. Add soy sauce, ground black pepper, oyster sauce and fry in a pan until golden brown.
Finely chop the green onion and mix with the mushroom filling.
Wet your hands and the onigiri mold with water. Fill the mold in half, making a recess for the filling. Place the mushroom filling in the center.
Cover it with rice.
Press down with the other half of the mold. Then remove from the form.
Cut the nori sheet into rectangular strips and wrap the onigiri around.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving. Onigiri with mushrooms are ready, enjoy your meal!
