Pork liver Stroganoff style

Description of preparation:

Pork liver, unlike beef liver, has a slight bitterness, which is removed by sour cream. To keep the liver tender and soft, salt it at the very end. To ensure that the pieces are even, be sure to remove the top film, which becomes deformed during the cooking process. If desired, you can add herbs and your favorite spices.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to prepare liver Stroganoff style. Remove the film from the liver and cut off all the veins.

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, add butter, heat over medium heat. Peel the onions, chop and fry for three minutes. Transfer to a bowl.

Cut the pork liver into medium cubes and place in the frying pan after the onions. Dust the liver with flour.

Fry the liver in flour for three minutes over medium heat, stirring. Add sour cream to the pan with the liver.

Add fried onions.

Add ketchup, mustard, bay leaf and stir. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for another five minutes over medium heat, stirring.
