Raspberry jam in syrup
Preparation description:
The calculation of ingredients is indicated for three jars of 500 ml. A colorful and fragrant raspberry jam in syrup, a must have in every pantry! This is not only a delicious dessert to serve with sweet pastries, but also a very useful natural medicine in the fight against colds and SARS!
Prepare the indicated ingredients. It is best to choose not juicy raspberries so that the berries keep their shape after cooking.
Pour sugar into a cauldron or pan with a non-stick bottom and pour in warm water. Place the container on the stove.
Boil the syrup for 3-4 minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Rinse raspberries in water, remove the tails and put in a cauldron directly into the syrup.
Stir and cook over moderate heat for about 10 minutes. Then remove the resulting foam and boil for another 5 minutes. Make sure that the jam does not run onto the stove!
Scald jars and lids with boiling water or steam sterilize them. Put boiling jam in them and roll up. Then cool at room temperature and transfer to storage in the pantry.
Don’t forget to save some jam for yourself as well!
