Blackcurrant and gooseberry jam

Preparation description:
The jam is very fragrant, sweet and sour and quite thick. Gooseberries for jam can be taken of any variety and any maturity. Jam keeps well in a dry, dark place, even at room temperature.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making blackcurrant and gooseberry jam. Sort the berries, rinse and let the water drain completely. Remove the twigs from the currant, and the tails from the gooseberry.

Put the berries in a blender bowl and chop not very much. Put everything in a bowl for making jam.

Add sugar to the berries and stir.

Cook the jam over medium heat for 15 minutes after boiling. Pour hot jam into sterilized, dry jars. Seal jars tightly and turn upside down to cool completely. After that, turn the jars over and put them away for storage.
