Cheese soup “Chowder”

Preparation description:
“Chowder” is prepared very simply and quickly. In the original, corn should be fresh or frozen, but canned is also suitable. Bacon can be replaced with smoked brisket.

Prepare the ingredients for the Chowder Soup.

Finely chop the bacon and put it in a saucepan with a piece of butter. Fry for 3-4 minutes.

Finely chop the onion, garlic and celery stalk and add to the pot.

Fry for 5-6 minutes.

Place diced potatoes in a bowl.

Pour in the water and boil the soup until the vegetables are ready.

Then add corn.

Pour in warm cream.

Grate cheese and mix with starch. Add to soup. Thanks to this simple procedure, the cheese will not sink to the bottom of the pan in one lump, and therefore will dissolve faster. Simmer soup until cheese is completely melted. At the end, salt and pepper to taste.

Soup “Chowder” is ready. Serve for lunch.
