Preparation description:
The calculation of ingredients is indicated for two containers of 300 ml. Be sure to prepare a delicious treat for the winter to please your loved ones for breakfast or afternoon tea. Bones from sweet cherries must be removed if you plan to store the workpiece for more than 4 months.
Prepare the indicated ingredients. To shade the taste of berries, be sure to add lemon or lemon juice.
Rinse the berries in water, remove the seeds and stems.
Pour sugar into a saucepan or cauldron. Cut a quarter of a lemon into slices and add to a bowl along with warm water. Place the container on the stove and bring the syrup to a boil.
Pour the cherry berries into the syrup and bring to a boil. If desired, you can add a little ground cinnamon or vanilla.
Boil the cherries in the syrup for at least 15 minutes so that they give the syrup its taste, color and aroma. Then remove the lemon slices.
Scald the jar and lid with boiling water or sterilize in any other way convenient for you. Put the boiling billet into a jar and close the lid along the thread or using a conservation key. Cool in the kitchen and transfer to the pantry, cellar until winter.
Serve cherries in syrup to the table along with sweet pastries, toasted toasts, pancakes.
