Prepare all ingredients.
Wash cherries, remove stems and pits.
Sprinkle with sugar and leave for a couple of hours to let the juice flow.
Transfer the cherries with sugar to a saucepan. Put on a small fire and bring to a boil.
Peel the carrots, grate them on a Korean carrot grater and add to the saucepan. Boil 6-7 minutes after boiling. Remove from stove and cool completely.
Repeat this 2-3 more times. Add a pinch of citric acid for the last time.
Then transfer the hot jam to a clean, sterilized jar and seal tightly.
