Salad “Mongolian Hill”

Short description

Preparation description:
Beets for salad can not only be boiled, but also baked in the oven, then it will not be watery and will not lose part of the color. The salad will turn out spicier if you increase the amount of garlic or add hot pepper to it when frying the chicken. Any prunes can be taken, but it is best if they are not processed, although they are not as shiny. It is best to let the salad stand in the refrigerator for one hour.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the Mongolian Hill salad.

Rinse the chicken fillet, pat dry and cut into thin slices. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat and fry the chicken over medium heat until cooked through. Remove chicken from heat, season with salt and set aside.

Peel the boiled beets and grate on a coarse grater, add chopped garlic and mayonnaise. Mix everything and put half of the beets in a salad bowl, smooth.

Cut the fried chicken into small cubes, add mayonnaise and chopped nuts. Mix everything and put on the beets, without reaching the edge.

Peel the boiled carrots and grate on a coarse grater. Add grated on a medium grater, mayonnaise and mix. Lay the next layer over the chicken.

Wash the prunes, dry and finely chop. Arrange the prunes on the carrot layer.

Lay the remaining beets on top, closing the sides. Garnish with finely chopped parsley and serve.

Bon appetit!
