Preparation description:
The density of the jam depends on the strength of agar-agar, the higher it is, the denser the mass. Jam keeps well in a dry, dark place.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making whitecurrant with agar-agar for the winter.

Rinse the currant berries, remove the twigs and put in a saucepan. Pour in water, put the pan with berries on a slow fire and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat.

Grind the berries through a sieve. Add sugar to the liquid, and we will no longer need the cake. Put the pan with currant syrup on a slow fire and cook until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Mix agar-agar with three tablespoons of water and let stand for 3 minutes.

When cooking jam, foam will form, be sure to remove it. Add agar-agar, boil the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring, and place in hot, sterilized jars. Let cool completely and cover with clean, dry lids and store.
