Sand puff pastry
This dough is perfect for making cookies, as the basis for sweet pies with curd, berry and savory fillings. It is perfectly stored in the freezer and does not lose its properties after defrosting.
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the shortcrust puff pastry. Take out the oil beforehand so that it becomes soft.
Add salt to cold milk and stir until dissolved. Put the butter in a bowl and pour in the milk.
Break the egg into a bowl, mix everything well with a whisk.
Sift flour into a bowl.
Quickly knead into a soft, non-sticky dough. Remove for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.
Sprinkle the table with flour and roll out the dough one centimeter thick and fold it four times.
Roll out the dough again to a thickness of one centimeter and fold it four times. The dough is ready for preparation.
