For many, it is impossible to imagine a holiday table without red caviar. But you can prepare not only traditional sandwiches with butter, but also other interesting snacks. We have collected 7 cool ideas for you that we recommend you take note of!

Pancakes

Delicate pancakes combined with red caviar are a traditional classic of Russian cuisine. They are bright and will perfectly complement the holiday table.

First, prepare the dough – beat the eggs with a pinch of salt and sugar. Add milk, flour and finally pour in vegetable oil. Heat the frying pan well, pour in the batter in small portions and fry thin pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Take two pancakes and place them on top of each other. Grease the top with cheese and sprinkle with chopped herbs. Roll into a tight roll. Cut into 3-4 cm pieces and place on a serving plate, cut side up. Top with caviar and serve.

Cut out the center of the other half using a slightly smaller diameter punch. Place the resulting “rings” on top of the preparations on a baking sheet. Brush them with beaten egg and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool the finished baskets, fill with butter and caviar just before serving.
