Squid stuffed with zucchini in the oven

Squid stuffed with zucchini in the oven

Description of preparation:

At first glance, this dish may seem somewhat complicated or exotic to you, but once you prepare the filling, you can assume that it is almost ready. All that remains is to fill the peeled squid with vegetables, sprinkle with cheese and bake for 12-15 minutes. The dish according to this recipe is tender, juicy and very tasty! You can serve it as an appetizer or for dinner, but in this case, be sure to add a side dish to the squid. Boiled rice is ideal. This unusual dish will not leave anyone indifferent!

Prepare all ingredients. I have already cleaned the squid carcasses.

Cut the onion into cubes, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Fry the vegetables until soft.

Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater, add a pinch of salt and stir. Leave for 5 minutes, then once it releases the juice, squeeze and add to the fried vegetables.

Salt and pepper the filling to taste. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Rinse the squid carcasses under running water. Carefully cut off the fins. The fins can be chopped and added to the filling, or frozen and used in other dishes.

Fill the prepared carcasses with vegetable filling and connect the edges with a toothpick.

Place in a greased ovenproof dish. Brush the squid with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Squids stuffed with zucchini are ready in the oven. You can serve in portions or cut into rings and serve on a common platter. Bon appetit!
