Tartlets “Boats” made of puff pastry with red fish

Preparation description:

Such tartlets can become a real decoration for any table. They are easy to prepare and the first to disappear from the table. You can use any creamy cheese, as well as red fish.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making puff pastry “Boats” tartlets with red fish. Take the dough out in advance to defrost.

Sprinkle your work surface with flour and roll out the dough a little. Cut the dough into 6 rectangles. Fold each piece in half lengthwise and pinch the edges. Unfold them, pushing the edges apart, making boats. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment, brush the surface with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

Place the baking sheet in a hot oven and bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove the finished tartlets and cool completely.

Press down the inside of the finished tartlets. Fill the inside of the boats with cream cheese and top with red fish. Garnish everything with herbs and a slice of lemon.
