Turkey meat loaf with mushrooms and ketchup
Description of preparation:
You can buy ground turkey in specialty stores or make it yourself. Chanterelles can be replaced with any other wild mushrooms or champignons. If you don’t want the mushrooms to come in pieces, grind them in a blender. You can use ketchup to your liking, but keep in mind that the taste of the meat loaf will depend on it.
Prepare all the necessary ingredients to make Turkey Meat Loaf with Mushrooms and Ketchup. Sort the mushrooms, peel and rinse.
Pour milk over crackers and stir.
Break the eggs into a bowl with breadcrumbs, stir and let stand for 10 minutes.
Chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring.
Finely chop the chanterelles and add to the onion. Fry over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring.
Add 3 tablespoons of ketchup to the fried mushrooms and onions and stir. Fry everything for 3 minutes, remove from heat and cool.
Add chopped garlic to the ground turkey, add salt and pepper. Mix everything well.
Place a mixture of breadcrumbs, eggs and milk into the minced meat. Mix everything well.
Add the mushroom mixture to the minced meat and mix well. Season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste.
Grease a rectangular baking dish with vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place the minced meat in it and smooth it out.
Brush the top of the minced meat with the remaining ketchup.
Place the meat loaf in a hot oven and bake at 180 degrees for 55-60 minutes. After some time, remove the finished meat loaf from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. After this, remove the bread, cut and serve.
